Stair Mill provides two self-catering holiday cottages available for year round rental in the Newlands Valley near Keswick.

Set in the heart of the Lake District National Park, overlooking Catbells, Skiddaw and Causey Pike, Stair Mill is in a truly rural location, yet only 4 miles from the bustling town of Keswick. 

A former corn mill, Stair Mill has 2 acres of garden and woodland and is an ideal location for those who are looking for a walking base with fells on the doorstep.  Alternatively, for those who wish to cycle or tour by car, Borrowdale, Buttermere and Derwentwater are close at hand.  Secure, lockable cycle storage is available as is ample parking next to the cottages.

Each cottage – Mill Cottage and The Parrock – has been converted from the original lakeland mill to provide cosy, comfortable and characterful holiday accommodation, both sleeping 6 in 3 good-sized bedrooms.

Pets are welcome at no additional charge.

The cottages are included in the VisitBritain annual inspection scheme and have been awarded three stars.
